MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVS.

EVS is a European Commission project developed within the Erasmus+ framework that allows 18-30 years old people to become volunteers for 3 to 12 months in a non-govermental organisation, in a foreign country (mainly in the territory of the EU).

The EVS aims “to develop solidarity, mutual understanding and tolerance among young people, while contributing to strenghtening social cohesion and promoting active citizenship”. At the end of the project, the volunteers’ learning experience is formally recognised through a Youthpass (see detail). During their EVS experience, volunteers usually receive free accomodation and food, insurance cover and a grant/allowance.
